Sion Hill facilities are all located on one campus at Cross Avenue Blackrock, and cover all student interests; Sport, Learning, Arts and Well Being.
Sport
Our all weather multi-sport pitch, (installed in 2015) and Multi Functional Indoor Sports Hall and Tennis Courts accommodate a wide range of PE lessons, after-school activities (Gaelic Football, Soccer, Rounders, MultiSports) and team training facilities for competitive Hockey, Basketball, Tennis and Athletics.
Online booking is available for our multi purpose all weather Astro Pitch and our multi-functional Indoor Sports Hall.

Mathematics
Classroom and learning facilities include fully equipped Science Laboratories, Mathematic and Physics classrooms with interactive whiteboards and Activinspire software, Computer Room, computer, dedicated Art Room, fully equipped Home Economics classroom, Geography Room, and St Thomas’ Library.
The library includes over 8000 catalogued resources and students have a designated library studies class each week to encourage reading. A study space within St Thomas’ Library is available for students to partake in after-school supervised study for 2 hours each weekday.
Arts
The Concert Hall is the scene of many moments of joy in Sion Hill. From Musicals to invited speakers, prize giving to Christmas Concerts our beloved Concert hall is the backdrop to many of the memories that last long after students leave Sion Hill.
Well Being
Student life is not just in the classroom. In support of Sion Hill’s mission to create a “happy secure environment” the School provides dedicated canteen space for 5th and 6th years, Open Space and Red Stairs Café for all students. The Happy Hub and Inner Space are communal spaces available to students for relaxation, chat, and for those who need quiet time during stressful moments that may arise in school year.
